  • Performance leader managing a team of 22 roadside technician, my time is split 50/50 between road and management duties. I deal with all aspects of performance alongside employee relations, well-being, complaints, claims and process changes within HR

  • I have learnt a multitude of new skills and developed my current skill set

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme has been difficult to begin with due to work load however I am now beginning to progress well with the newly developed time management skills

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Due to no fault of the training provider I feel the support from the initially allocated tutor wasn’t of the standard required to support the learning journey, however the contents of the programme has been excellent and the support from other tutors has been great

  • My employer is very supportive of the programme and has allocated sufficient time to allow me to complete the allocated work

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification has helped me develop new skill sets in which I have been able to utilise in my day to day role and gained a better understanding of how to get the best from my team

  • We have bi annual conferences within the roadside leadership group and organise regular team nights out

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The AA has given me opportunities both professionally and personally that I do not feel I would have been given in a regular workshop environment


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to The AA?
  • I began my career with the AA 8 years ago and within that time period have been given the opportunity to progress within the business in different roles, the opportunity for growth is there if you are willing to apply yourself. No two days are the same
