  • My role is to manage the onboarding team of a training provider. Managing people, resource and customer relationships

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I learnt how to better manage people, as well as myself through increased self-awareness. The mechanisms of people management through learning new techniques and theories were massively helpful. I also achieved my CMI qualification

  • I massively enjoyed my programme. My coach was very supportive and taught me a lot throughout my journey.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • very well organised. I was made aware of expectations from the offset, deadlines as well as all the support that was made available to me.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer was very supportive. Coming from a training provide they ensured I had all my off the job time required and helped me manage workload pressures throughout this time to ensure I had everything I needed to achieve a distinction

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Lots of support was given. For example I had a dedicated coach for my apprenticeship, as well as additional tutoring support for the CMI qualification. There was lots of learning resources provided through the learning platform too

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It gave me all the theory elements and knowledge needed to embed this through my leadership practice

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Lot's of CSR activities that are encouraged e.g. charity events, networking events, awards events etc.

  • Yes

  • They went above and beyond, and was instrumental to my further career progression


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Davies Learning Solutions?
  • Engage and understand what is expected from you from the offset. Make sure you lean on all the resources available to you as they are massively helpful when working to complete your apprenticeship. Don't be scared to ask for help!
