I am responsible for Business Development and client onboarding within my sub division.
I have learnt how to prioritise workload correctly and juggle apprenticeship work alongside my day job. I have developed my english skills through writing my coursework pieces.
Although it has been hard work, I have enjoyed being able to achieve a diploma in insurance and also the different tasks / sessions offered by the apprenticeship.
Very well organised - my coach was fantastic at giving me deadlines and monitoring my progress in order to achieve my diploma quickly but in manageable chunks.
I have managed to fit in all my apprenticeship work alongside my day job and had study days / attended workshops with no bother where necessary.
Lots - My coach was really supportive and always on hand to support with additional sessions / resources if required.
It has helped me to understand the basis of insurance and then apply insurance law and business and economics as modules to my role in business development.
Yes - every quarter there is an organised event.
Yes
The support from my coach was great, and they use a well structured plan to get you through your CII modules as well as the additional apprenticeship skills / knowledge and behaviour learning.
Make the most of your coach and always ask questions - no such thing as a silly question!
