  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I manage the LMS & LXP platforms to enhance learner experience by ensuring engagement,. I also manage the curriculum inbox to answer any platform or learner related queries. I am inn charge of the weekly staff newsletter that covers all areas of the business to ensure communication is consistent as well as analyse engagement data for user experience. I co-ordinate platform campaigns from design and curation to release.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • During my role, I learnt how to use graphic design tools, trained in our LMS and LXP platforms as well ands improving in my Excel skills. I learnt about presentation skills, stakeholder management professionalism in a corporate setting and ensuring I understood the importance of continuous personal development. I learnt more about organisational skills, team work and collaboration and improved my communication styles to be more professional.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my programme as I was given lots of resources to get stuck in as well as knowing my coach is always there to support me. I believe the programme was catered to me very well even though I am an older apprentice. I was always able to get my questions answered and explore topics that were not necessarily within my programme but enhanced my learning journey.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well, my learning programme was specific to me with quarterly mile stones and progress meeting to discuss my experience and concerns. I was made aware of where I am in my learning journey with reasonable deadlines which I had agreed with my coach. Lastly, we were able to collaborate on meetings with small amount of people in my cohort which allowed me to bounce my ideas off and really consolidate my learning. This was also coupled with lots of helpful feedback and resources.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employers were absolutely fantastic!!! They ensured I was always on track with my on-programme learning and ensured I always prioritised my apprenticeship even when there was other projects on. They supported me in teaching me diary management skills to ensure I was not over stretched as well as allowing me to explore my interests within the business. I was able to collaborate and support colleagues from the wider business as well as externally. During my programme, I always felt I was appropriately challenged with new projects and tasks.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider was fantastic as they guided me through my programme with monthly check-ins and quarter press checks to touch base. I was always able to get a hold of my coach should I need support with any of anything related to my apprenticeship. They always gave me feed back both on my work and off-the-job and ensured the I knew what to expect. The programme was really well sequenced so that I was able to acquire the KSBs of the programme without it being overwhelming or daunting.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Very well!! Due to my programme, I know how better to manage stakeholder expectations, communicate effectively, diary management as well as understanding business fundamentals better. I learnt lots of new transferable skills.

  • Yes, there was always to extra-curricular opportunities to enhance my experience as well such as challenges, walks and fundraisers.
