  • I have learnt more about aerospace, plane engines and different softwares

  • I am enjoying this apprenticeship so far, however i would prefer it if there was more consistency

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I thought that it was organised at the start, however things seem to be constantly changing and not everyone is being made aware of these changes.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • GE as an employer offer lots of support, however some support such as pay queries etc are extremely hard to resolve. Overall the support off my people leader and manager is amazing

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Although it would be beneficial to maybe see our college tutor more frequently or to set time to go down the college and complete our NVQ, we have the option to complete our work a couple of hours a week at work

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Some of the work and business information learnt through my NVQ helps me with business communication in my role, however due to the extent of work we do, this is very rare

  • GE offer the three peaks challenge, open evening volunteers, and sometimes calls with GE worldwide

  • Make sure to read into the company before your interview so your ready for any questions fired at you
