  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role as a Supply Chain Business Degree Apprentice requires me to work 4 days a week and study for a Chartered Leadership and Management Degree 1 day a week. Across the 4 year course i will have 6, 6 month rotations across different functions in the supply chain from Sourcing Fulfilment to planning and Operations. With the final year to choose a 12 month rotation to do my final year project on. Day-to-day is always different no matter what rotation you are in, you have lots of different responsibilities from uni work, rotation work to enrichments teams where you may be helping plan a volunteering event to organizing Work Experience for Students and potential new apprentices.

With many apprentices all over site in different rotations it can be hard to stay on top of everything however due to apprentice community that has been built over the years there are really good relationships between the different years which help to support each other and also many ex apprentices who have completed the course are in management roles all over site who are still eager to help develop the next set of apprentices
