Attended various meetings in different departments which included Finance, Marketing, Trading and Sustainability and was asked for feedback on topics discussed. Was given an art project to design the packaging for Pet Food.
Better understanding on how a business operates and a good insight in Marketing
My work was varied and it was great to meet personnel of all levels of seniority and to be challenged with a project.
Very Organised. Was asked to sign an NDA upon arrival due to the sensitivity of documents and discussions which took place. I was given a tour of the building and a schedule of my daily events.
I learned a great deal about the company as I had to attend an induction meeting which gave me a good overview/history of the company. I found everyone to be very welcoming and offered support when needed.
As I had to attend meetings in a variety of departments it made me think about a career in art and design or perhaps ESG.
No as it was unpaid work experience and my mother worked at the company so took me to the work placement each day.
