  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes. I had no idea what commercial insurance entailed and over the past year and a half I have learnt pretty much everything to support a Broker in placing new/reoccurring business.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme. I like the challenge of learning hands on in an office and then learning a qualification too at the same time. It gives me that balance.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is well structured with organised deadlines.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot. I receive 20% off-the-job and if things are quiet, I can prioritise my apprenticeship. Senior members also help me revise.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Lots. I have regular catch-ups with my training coach and he provides me with continuous support and guidance.

  • Very well. The Cert/DIP CII provides the foundation knowledge required to work in any insurance role!

  • Yes

  • Dont spend too much time trying to come across as perfect. Be yourself. Youll get much further in your career being as real as possible.
