  • Supervisor on trade sales. manage team of staff, manage trade desk for orders enquiries and sales and refunds. assist customers with technical sales advice

  • I have learnt some new information. I have been in sales previously so this is a good refresher and bringing me up to date

  • It is for my work and to further my career. i wouldnt call it fun but it can be interesting

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Im sure there is a plan but it isnt clear or logical to me. because everyting is online or via teams meetings, it is hard to follow sometimes, especially as no-one has their cameras on, it can be hard to follow, I take part at work so there are added distractions

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I am given time to do my coursework but if we are short staffed it can be difficult to find time.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I can email them or call them and they do get back to me but it can be some time and by then my time to work is over and i have to try to find more time later.

  • I hope it does give more information and understanding for my role

  • No, we have a christmas meal for the staff and there are management meetings occasionally

  • Yes

  • I do feel looked after as a staff member and they do listen to your opinion and most of all do everything to make the customers happy which makes it easy to give good customer service


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Screwfix?
  • give as much info in your cv and have the details to back it up in the interview. be yourself.
