Designing and creating new products and procedures, improving current production procedures, troubleshooting and resolving production issues, collaborating with other engineers, technicians, and operators to increase manufacturing efficiency, maintaining and updating manufacturing equipment, adhering to legal requirements, conducting research and development, and coaching and training other staff members are some of my duties.
Yes, I have gained new knowledge and expertise in my role as a manufacturing engineer.Lean manufacturing is a collection of guidelines and techniques that can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of manufacturing. I now know how to use the principles of lean manufacturing to enhance the planning, creation, and application of manufacturing processes.
