  • On atypical day I first check o the merchandise that is supposed to be sild at the particular date, ensure that all is well I then evaluate the value ofvthe merchandise from the provided data. There is the step for work distribution and how the merchandise wilm be moved to the buyers who are mostly wholesalers

  • I have learned new skills such as development of ledger sheets in electronic form by use of computers. I have also enhanced my communication skills as I get to talk to new clients on a daily basis. I've also developed new skills in marketing and sales, this is shown with the increase in sales per financial year

  • I enjoy my programme very much. On a rating of 1-10 I'd guve ot a 7/10. Proper management and motivation from my juniors helps me enjoy this work. There is also a friendly team that I work with of people who are self driven. This makes me enjoy my programme so much

  • It is a well structured programme. Futies are evenly distributed amaongst the employees thus no conflict over work. There is also a good management protocol that iskeen on the work of the juniors. Complaints are easily sorted out because of the proper management of the programme therefore no much work delay.

  • I receive the support that I need, no need to complain. Support comes in from the management be it financial, support in terms of advice. There is also workers motivation where they acknowledge the best workers for the month who are given a token as an appreciation. This motivates all those working for our employer

  • I receive much support from my training provider. They come in with advise for my career and the paths am supposed to take for a better career for me. My training provider has also taken me to various institutions for ghe betterment of my career. My provider also enlightens me on the new niches available innour field

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feek it helps me perform better. This is because through them I have bettered my version ledger skills and computer skills especially excel. Communication skills are the best as I ama anleto persuade customers to consider my companies goods. Educative Seminars/workshops organised by my training provider have helped me iprove my qualifications for the role

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes I have enrolled in a local club for swimming activities. I have a membership for the sports club, this has helped me network with individuals who are pro's in this sector. I've also engaged in aproggramming boot camp but I did not like it as I have a lot to learn before I consider myself worthy for it all.

  • Yes

  • Proper working environment Proper distribution of roles The company's workers are well taken care of, this is in terms of both physical safety. They have work insurance for their workers thus ensuring the safety of the staff. Payment is on time for all of their staff therefore motivating their workers.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Platinum Sales & Distribution?
  • They should familiarise with the company's profile and the type of goods it deals with, the type of target market for the goods they have. This makes work easier as one already knows what they are deing with and their target market They should also display a customer- centric approach for their customers
