  • Assisting and learning from operators, completing tasks from college trainers and further understanding business roles and processes.

  • Various practical skills including, crimping, equipment use and communication skills I have picked up and improved greatly upon.

  • Very much as it affords me the opportunity to work and gain industry knowledge while learning specifics about electronics.

  • The programme is set up well to work with a mix of college days and work days. College days are well structured with a class timetable and work days are clearly defined with a specific work assignments working alongside operators.

  • Support is given when required and requested.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Plenty of support is given and more support can be acquired if needed.

  • Much of the content covered in college is directly comparable to workplace assignments as well as practical skills. However a large portion of the content is not relevent.

  • Yes multiple social groups and volunteering activities are available

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Good social opportunities within the workplace as well as interesting work without too much pressure. A great place if you value quality and have an eye for detail.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to GE Aerospace?
  • practical skills are desirable and show you have a strong work ethic.
