My role being an apprentice allows me to shadow other collogues with jobs they are doing and learn from what they are doing. It also involves doing jobs of my own such as servicing, brakes and tyres.
I have learnt how to remove change and refit brake drums and shoes which I was not able to do before.
I enjoy my programme as everyone at work is always happy to help if I am stuck with something and assist me with jobs I have not done before.
My programme can be well structured but sometimes it is not at college.
I receive a lot of support from my employer.
My training provider gives me a lot of support, making sure all my coursework is ready to be submitted.
I feel that it helps me perform better as I am willing to learn how to do new things.
