1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Support the Operations Team with updating employee annual leave, time bookings and correcting engine input data. Frequently participate in Lean/Kaizen events for continuous improvement, and work on projects.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developing skills and knowledge in Lean from participating in events, and this has given me the foundation I need to work towards my Six Sigma Black belt.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme is fantastic. There is a huge variety of people to gain knowledge from, and the networking opportunities are immeasurable.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure is good, but there is always room for improvement and the programme is currently be revamped. GE Aerospace uses the Lean philosophy of continuous improvement in all areas of the business.

All team members are really supportive of my development, and are always happy to help and guide me.

My training provider is very supportive and always available when I need help and guidance,

My qualification has enabled me to develop my understanding and knowledge to the standard needed to perform and get ahead in the corporate world.

Yes. - Kaizen events - Round table meetings - Three Peak Challenge - Womens Network and many more.
