  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

    • I am a trainee property manager. I help my colleagues with their portfolio while slowly building my own. Daily I interact with landlords, occupiers and councils to house vulnerable people into temporary accommodation. I have to keep in line with compliance laws so make sure my certificates are also up to date.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

    • Many new professional skills including communication skills and problem solving as we can often deal with difficult situations that need quick efficient solutions.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • I enjoy it immensely. I love being in my work environment as it is very engaging and a fun place to work. Also the job is self rewarding.

    • Very organised. Have my own tutor who books me into workshops during times convenient for me.

    • A lot of knowledge support.

    • Very well. Without each other, I’d be missing what I need to perform my job properly.
