I have learnt how to better my communications with other team member

I enjoyed the programme very much and learnt a lot about my own capabilities

It was well organised with access to my learning plans online and support documents accessible through the providers website

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer supported me by giving me any information needed the was company relevant, i.e. when My topic was ordering, they helped me with costs and the ordering process

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training coordinator was always available via WhatsApp for if I had any questions or if I wasn't sure of what was being asked of me

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I now have a better understanding of how the kitchen runs and how to organise and deligate tasks

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We organise a number of team events to raise money for charity throughout the year

Yes

It is a very good company to work for. Not only are there opportunities to develop through apprentices but the pay and financial benefits are also amazing. Hours are flexible also, so it is a great company for those with commitments.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JD Wetherspoon?

Read the job description carefully. It can be very fast paced and demanding at times, but it is a nice place to work and the people are very friendly.
