  • I have achieved 2 additional qualifications and I am currently working to complete an NVQ Level 3

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The team i am working with are amazing and are fully on board with sharing knowledge and experiences in order to help grow my knowledge base. Taking on the apprenticeship is the best decision that i have made, i love my job !!

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Initially i had a 4 week plan and a mentor, this was fantastic as i started my role with very limited knowledge. Since Covid hit i was still fully supported throughout lockdown with training and knowledge sharing whilst working at home

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My manager and my VP always give me constructive feedback and i am given lots of opportunities to network and develop my skills. I have also been given time to study and been provided with any additional study aids that i felt i needed

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • There have been some issues with the training provider but my manager has been super supportive and has helped to get these issues resolved

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I have learnt so much in such a short space of time, the new qualifications that i have acquired will be crucial as i move through my new career journey. Along with the qualifications I have achieved my manager ensures that i am also getting practical experience

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Our company are very invested in wellbeing and employee care. There are a number of groups and networking events that are organised, some of these are specifically targeted towards Women which is a huge benefit within the electrical industry as it can be very male dominate in some areas

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I have worked for Schneider Electric for over 20 years and i wouldn't want to work anywhere else, regardless of your age/gender the business is fully supportive of developing its employees and allowing you to take your career in a direction that you feel is right for you


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Schneider Electric?
  • Be open and honest - be yourself, take a chance and apply for the job of your dreams. Always ask for feedback after an interview regardless of if you get the job or not as there is always room to develop and grow.
