  • My role is quite diverse. I'm responsible for Customer Feedback, Competitor research, Global market intelligence reports, helping the team out on important projects as well as others. We also have a lot of meetings so I tend to be in at least 2 meetings a day

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt a lot and defiantly learn everyday. I've been able to apply my Uni work to my role as well. I've never had to learn new things and develop new skills so fast so its been really good to be able to progress so quick

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I do enjoy the programme. It defiantly suits me better then going to Uni as your more busy and earning while getting your degree. You also get the chance to meet so many people as you would at Uni too which has been good

  • It is well structured.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • We get support whenever we need it. My boss is very supportive and understands when I have to focus more on Uni to complete assignments.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We get support. Its online the majority of the time but everyone is allocated a skills coach for individual support and then you can speak to the lecture's if you need help with the course.

  • It certainly helps as you can apply what you learn

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes. At my office there are drinks every month for the whole office to get together. You also make friends easily so you can go out with them too. Our office also has sports activities you can sign up for too

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Its a great company to work for. They will value your opinion as a Apprentice as well and make you feel really welcome. Everyone is helpful and wants to see you do well so its a great place to work. The company benefits are also really good


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Schneider Electric?
  • Be passionate about sustainability, do your research on the company, and be yourself.
