Reporting on Streetworks, Customer Satisfaction, managing the iAuditor system, creating new reporting solutions, leading on projects

Learnt the basics of SQL, Python and learnt how to build Power BI dashboards

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the hands on learning and dealing with new programming languages such as SQL and Python. The only thing I've not enjoyed is the assignments.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well organised and structured and the coaches are very supportive and always there to speak to when needed. Also, monthly meetings with your coach allow you to monitor progress and ensure you're on the right track with things.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

Support is always available from my manager and line manager, whether it's managing workload or guidance with other issues.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My coach has been very helpful since starting the programme. As mentioned before, they're always available to call for a quick conversation and also help to motivate you to do the best you can

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification will help me take the next step in my role. SQL, Power BI, Python etc. are all industry standard tools which can be used to help push our team forward and innovate

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I believe there are some every now and then, but due to the structure of our team they're often limited as we live in different parts of the country

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CityFibre?

Be honest with what you want from the job, work hard and deliver on your objectives. The company is happy to support in additional training/courses, so there's a lot of potential to make the jump to the next stage in your career.
