  • Supporting my stakeholders with commercial negotiaitions, contract negotiations, RFP's, RFQ's, Supplier issues and gathering requirements.

  • Developed stakeholder influencing skills, developed neogtations skills, new leadership skills, developed supplier relationships management skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • A lot. The apprenticehip is structured really well, and is helping me become chartered within my field. Expanding my Procurement knowledge through the CIPS apprenticeship via SRSCC has been invaluable so far. I look forward to progressing onto Level 5 in the future.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very organised and strucutred. We use an online portal which distibutes our workload and allows us to submit work as well. We also have dashboard to easily monitor our progress and off the job hours.

  • Flexbility has been given when I have needed time off for an exam and studying during the week.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • So much flexibility. Sometimes I will have a busy period at work and we will re assess timelines for assignements. They are very inderstanding.

  • Better understanding of different porcurement skills I can use to get the best value from my suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Pofessional networking events twice a year. Christmas works doo and the odd team social here and there.

  • Yes

  • Great flexible place to work and a place where you can be a bit more entrepenurial with your approach and ideas.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Poundland?
  • Be yourself in the interview because authenticness and transparency is the best way to be here.
