  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • This is a new programme, so there wasn't a tried and tested fixed structure, however we were given a summary of what we will be expected to achieve per year and we have been kept informed of any changes or upcoming events with more than sufficient time on our hands.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The training provider responds to my emails and queries relatively quickly. We have all been provided monthly 1 to 1s with our coaches and there is also a review with our coach and our performance manager (from KPMG) to discuss progress and any grey areas.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification has helped me gain an understanding of the software to a degree where I can perform my role at a much better level, whilst having the technical knowledge of how and why to undertake the tasks that I do. I feel this has helped me engage much better with my team.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

  • 9a. Would you recommend KPMG to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • There is a culture which encourages you to be yourself whilst giving you various opportunities to expand your horizons, all the while providing you with a great amount of support, should you require it.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to KPMG?
  • KPMG is a great place to join regardless of where you are in your career. That does generate some competition between applicants and cause nerves to creep in during interviews. However if you are able to provide an honest outlook on your willingness to learn and ability to adapt whilst adhering to KPMGs values, you should feel quite pleased with yourself. All the best.
