  • Rotating within different areas of the supply chain, from Logistics, Sourcing, Operations, Quality and Materials focusing on both Tactical and Strategic objectives.

  • The apprenticeship has enabled my to develop skills such as problem solving, communication and multi-tasking.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my apprenticeship at GE. It challenged me on a daily basis to learn new things and allowed for me to continuously improve.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The apprenticeship had good structure. The apprenticeship had a clearly defined Rotation schedule allowing for the greatest opportunity for learning as well as good structures with the University studies.

  • In General the employer supports the apprenticeship and has entwined it with the core values.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The business allows around 20% of the working week for the apprentices to focus on their educational studies and qualifications.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The training provided is first class and really opens up new ways of thinking and new process which improves the success to the apprentice

  • GE are a company that regularly challenges the Status Quo and looks to develop its employees to learn more and be better.

  • Previous experience is desired but if not then show the desire to want to continuously improve.
