  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Within my role, I manage the sales office team to ensure they carry out all day to day tasks. My role means that I organise all the supplier support for the branch, sort all the account terms, organise credits and invoice queries and do general day to day sales.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My apprenticeship allowed me to learn more about time management and taught me about what my skills are and what I can do to improve the way I manage my team

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly loved my programme and found it to be a nice break from my day to day role. Parts of it were challenging, but overcoming this helped me be a better person in my role.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Our programme was started pre-COVID so when COVID hit, the programme was changed over to being done on google hangouts. The programme was still fantastic and despite the changes, ran very smoothly.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer was great, we were allocated as much time as we needed to complete the work and I was given opportunities to try out different areas that I wouldn't normally do as part of my additional learning.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Leap allocate a mentor to each person. My mentor was amazing, she was always on hand to help with any questions I had or even just to listen to me have a meltdown if I was stressed, she was utterly fantastic!!!

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel that the skills I learnt are all transferrable and I have been able to use them to better myself and my team. I was able to feed back my learning to my team to provide them with extra skills.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Unfortunately, we don't have any extra-curricular activities but this is definitely something we could get involved with.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Its a fantastic company to work with with plenty of benefits and great people to work with. They are huge supporters of women in the workplace and all staff are treating with the utmost respect.
