  • My role includes of variety takes and responsibility Such as leading the team, coaching the team with procedures, recruitment, ensuring we hit customer metrics and speed metrics, delight each and every quest we have and complying with all food, health and safety standards each and everyday whilst ensuring the team have 🤩

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I’ve learnt how to ensure I have a different style of leadership and management per different situation and that not all people get be treated the same, I’ve learnt around different theories behind peoples needs and response’s. Such as theHarlow structure of needs , but ensuring the team have fun

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I do enjoy the programme as it help not only help me know it will help further down the line in other roles and jobs , to ensure I know the best that I can around the hospitality and catering food sector, but just to people able to have something to do

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is different to the one I did in 2017 where i was more face to face with the regional trainer where this is more get on with it and follow the work pattern with reviews every 13 weeks which I think needs to be looked at in a different way

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • The support from the employer is excellent they gave me the chance to be able to do the apprenticeship and trust me to be able to balance both the job and the extra learning in the apprenticeship. All the tools I require and need are given to me when needed

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The support from the providers of the learning and training could be better with having more regular face to face meetings rather than zoom it’s just isn’t the same compared to being face to face, other than that I get the support needed when asked for any help

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel the the qualification through my training and learning provider helps me perform my role much better as it gives me a better understand that just KFC but the hole sector it’s self which allows me to understand different completion and competitors locally and nationally with helping gain customers

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We have the RGm fest and a Christmas party each year but other than that Unfortunately no there isn’t any extra curricular activities to get involved in at work which is a shame because it would Allow us to gain Better team building and understanding of each other which helps

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • This job is good after 6 years apart from it being from repetitive I still enjoy coming to work to delight each and every guest we serve and meet and make new friends with colleagues and to have a job to be proud of that i can come to and enjoy


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to KFC UK & I?
  • For others that apply for kfc uk and I I would suggest that they give it time it may not feel for them straight away but after time and once they have settled in they will love the role but also go and be your best self and ensure you have a 5* smile
