  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I work within the apprenticeship team, providing first contact to all of our customers. I book reviews and career conversations. I also maintain all of our folders and information in an organised filing system. This enables my whole team to be able to find information they need effectively. I also help run our apprentices forum, this are session for the apprentices to gather information that may help them on their course.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • During my Apprenticeship, I have learnt a handful of new skills. For starters, I only ever sent out emails personally, I had never sent them out as apart of my job role. Therefore, I had to learn how to correctly send out an email, making sure that it is to the point. While also making them light and easy to read. I have also learnt how to use excel. This is a skill I have never had and even now use and take home with me to help organise my own home life.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I love the Programme. I have loved every minute in my course. My assessor has supported me every step of the way, I am due to be going through End Point Assessment in the coming months and I still feel just as supported as I did on my first day.

  • The programme is very organised. Everything is clearly laid out and easy to follow. All parties are extremely supportive and provide great advice when you are not sure what to do. They also keep all information that may have been missed up to date, to enable you to catch up on workshops that may have been missed.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Humongous amounts of support. They are always there if I need support or even if I just need advice. They are extremely willing to help. They have made me feel so welcome when I came for another apprenticeship and have supported me throughout the whole of my apprenticeship. I know a helping hand is only ever a phone call away.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My assessor is just an email away. She is always happy to answer any of my questions and support me in any way she can. She replies to emails within that day, which means when I am on my college day and stuck on some work I can still get it all completed rather than having to wait. Everyone at the college is super happy and supportive. They make you feel extremely welcome. I have loved every moment.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification, has taught me so much. I can now use all this information within my apprenticeship and show off all the skills I have learnt, such as interpersonal skills and ways to communicate with customers. All of these skills I use everyday and they help me to support our customer to the best of my ability
