  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • The role can be challenging at times as a lot of investigatory work is involved identifying the right information or key parts to progress a job forward. It involves communicating with internal and external customers and keeping on top of work stacks. The apprenticeship side keeps me busy and aligns the theory and thinking behind doing our jobs as on a wider picture.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Learnt how to challenge my self and other people where I believe it needs to be. I also have dealt with complex situations and learned how to get the appropriate support and when to escalate situations.

  • Very much so, as for me its a challenge and doing this keeps me challenged.

  • The programme follows a good structure

  • I receive support as and when I needed it

  • I am receiving the right amount of support and if I need additional (which I don't at the moment) I can always get this I believe

  • I think the qualifications helps to put things into perspective and focuses on things that you wouldn't think about on a day to day basis which you do in your role.

  • Yes there are many to join or be a part of

  • Be prepared to dealing with complex systems and processes that may take longer for some to overcome. To embrace every aspect of the work, culture and environment at Opnereach
