I am currently in the SEO (Search engine Optimization) team dedicated to optimizing BT's online presence to improve its visibility in search engine results and drive organic traffic to its website. the SEO team collaborates to develop and execute strategies aimed at enhancing the website's search engine rankings.
I've enhanced communication, Excel, and business acumen. Thriving in BT's digital team, I've networked, boosted my profile, and honed data analytics skills.
I have enjoyed exploring the diverse roles within the digital team, as well as the modules at university, which has been enriching, fostering my learning and versatility
I would say it has not been the best in terms of organization, as they were supposed to count my first-year credits as I transferred from Exeter, but they did not, resulting in me doing an extra year.
I receive great support from BT, they are always willing to give me as much time as I need to complete an assignment & my colleagues always try their best to assist me.
We are supported to a certain degree, they offer support sessions, and of course you have your modules, but I don't believe it is the best teaching. A lot of us students felt on our own for quite a few of the modules.
To be honest it hasn't really linked into my job roles a lot of the modules, but It does give me an understanding of other areas of digital & tech and how they all link together.
There are extracurricular activities, but I feel like within the digital space it is lacking, as a lot of us do not know each other as we work in different teams/squads not in the same location.
Yes
BT offers a nurturing community for personal growth, though there's room to improve retaining long-serving, high-value employees. Overall, I'd recommend BT to a friend for its supportive environment and opportunities for professional development
Research Thoroughly: Understand BT's services, culture, and values. Show Enthusiasm: Express genuine interest in BT and eagerness to contribute to its success.
