1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role as a fibre to the premise telecommunications engineer is to provide new cables from the underground or overhead network into the customers property. Once the cables are there I then connect them up with their new fibre optic broadband.

I have learnt numerous skills such as climbing telegraph poles and connecting up cables.
