  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My Apprenticeship role is in the FTTP (Fibre to the premises) side of the company, we work on repairs so this means working with CP's and different departments to try and get the fault closed as quickly and as smoothly as possible to get the customer back in service.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, I've learnt more functions within excel, word, power point and even outlook. Before starting at this company I didn't know much about the network and now I know where every piece of equipment in the field is and what it does and what happens if it breaks.
