  • Supporting adoption of new digital processes. Maximising service change achieved during year of Covid 19 pandemic. Management of a clinical service.

  • New skills of Business Analyst and how to apply this to day to day working and adoption of new IT services and approaches. Understanding of the approach of Agile working and SCRUM to maximise adoption of change and speed of adoption. Able to apply new theoretical knowledge to current projects and service change.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have thoroughly enjoyed the programme. Whilst the role of Business Analyst is a very different area of work, it is clear that the theoretical knowledge and skills I have gained can be applied to interim digital role and this is really satisfying and rewarding.

  • The programme is well structured. Change in staff working for the training provider has resulted in some delays.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have received support from my employer with regards time to do the course and support from my line manager who has engaged in the joint meetings when required.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The training provider has given excellent support particularly the progress management coordinator who has been extremely helpful and supported use of the only line portfolio.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The theoretical knowledge and skills learnt will enhance my ability to manage projects in future. It provides transferrable skills which will enhance my interim role and work towards evidencing the need for it to become a permanent role following successful out comes related to service change and digital adoption.

  • Yes - pre Covid, exercise classes. Recent commencement of book club. Professional networks.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • They are a supportive organisation who put staff wellbeing at the centre, by doing so they are able to have excellent, well motivated staff to provide high quality services.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NHS?
  • Look at their strategy including HR and OD policies and approach. Consider whether your own values align with those of the Trust.
