  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a team member who is trained on multiple stations. This means I do a variety of jobs from tacking customers orders, helping them to place orders on the kiosk if they need the help, packing customers orders, lobby host to cooking and prepping chicken and other products ready for the day.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I did team leader training but this apprenticeship has filled in my knowledge gaps and i have even learned things that i didn’t know. It give you more in depth detail about the business side of things. Also it is a great way to advance your knowledge and career.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I love this programme the information is set out so its easy to find any information that is needed to do the apprenticeship. The tutors are nice and friendly and are always helpful nothing is to much for them. It is easier than i thought it would be and the online hub has someone always willing to help if you’re stuck.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is well structured it is broken down in to topics and each topic has sub headings so the information is easy to find. only relevant information is in each topic with mini test to make sure you understand each topic as you work through it so you know if you are retaining the information.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have an amazing boss he gives me days off i have my video calls with my tutor so i dont have to worry about finishing to get into work. They also give up time out of their day or days off to help me if i am stuck on any of the activities.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Nothing is to much for the tutor i have been appointed they are always willing to help when i need it. They have a main site and a learners portal so other people doing the course can help each other. There is also a site to practice maths and english to get ready for the exam.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It helps me to fill in my knowledge gaps and things i didnt know at all which helps me as i can put that knowledge to use to do my job the best i can do it to help my manager and make their job easier and to help develope my team

  • We have team nights out, christmas parties,

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • They are flexible with working times and hours especially for working mums and students. They are always trying to help staff who want it to better themselves. Every so often then send out little gift boxes of goodies to the stores for staff as appreciation for good work especially through COVID


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to KFC UK & I?
  • Just be yourself and be honest and have fun. they are the first company i have applied for that doesn’t care about how a person looks, race, sexuality, gender or anything like that. If you are willing to learn and work they will employ you until you show different.
