  • Running steady shifts by myself, taking in deliveries, stock rotation, HACCP and COSHH records.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt how to organise myself ready for a simple service so that everything runs as smooth as possible. I have also learnt time management skills and how to cope better under pressure.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoy my programme at the moment. Due to COVID 19, I havent been able to go to college yet but I have still been able to do the college work and learn a lot of the skills I need for the course and for the kitchen.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Course seems very well structured even though I'm currently unable to attend college. There are frequent check ins from my assessor over the phone and in person. I have been given a folder which clearly shows which part I'm supposed to do and what is next. I know what is expected of me and when.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employers are 100% supportive, they will do everything in their power to help me with my course.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Frequent check ins over the phone and monthly check ins in person to go through what I have been doing and what I should do next. Always an email or phone call away if i need any help too!

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I havent actually gained my qualification yet however, I am constantly pushed to work harder to learn what I need to so that I can perform well individually and with my team.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Not that I am aware of, especially with current COVID regulations.

  • Yes

  • Very supportive, a lot of opportunities and benefits, good working environment and very good with training on the and off the job


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fuller's?
  • Always push your qualification as far as you can, be keen to learn and ask questions!
