  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • General running of the pub, payroll, budget, staff training.

    8/10

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt to be patient and calm under pressure. Especially during COVID times.

    9/10

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the face to face aspect which has now come to an end due to COVID. I find the webinars very mundane and they need to excite a little more.

    7/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It’s a tough one to answer as COVID has hindered all structure but prior to this point they were very good.

    9/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I wouldn’t say much as no one really discusses it or is interested.

    6/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Our coaches are Amazing. Always booking in visits.

    10/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Again a hard one to answer as we haven’t had the opportunity to Democrat our learnings in our businesses but I know it has made me more aware of how I react to staff.

    8/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Not currently. We do an outside thing for all employees at work called Sport Mondays on who ever is off can join and we go play golf or darts for example.

    9/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend Fuller's to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • They have always been a family led pub and have our best interests at heart.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fuller's?
  • To not worry about the future. They’re great with development up until GM. After then it gets a bit sketchy but they are certainly moving towards better opportunities for everyone.
