  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Setting up the kitchen and shutting down the kitchen. I am required to use different methods of cooking such as grilling and pan frying whilst also prepping fresh vegetables and salads.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • From starting at where I work currently I have learnt and adapted a lot of different skills over the years I have worked there. From coming in to the kitchen with only a couple of years experience to having nearly 7 years experience being a chef I have definitely learnt a lot of new skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme a lot, especially when doing it face-to-face. It's been a lot harder with COVID19 and having everything over email and Microsoft teams but it's the best option we had but overall I have enjoyed it a lot.

  • Well organised and I always knew when I was going to be doing work with my trainer on what date and time.

  • I recieve a lot of support because I've always wanted to progress and they want to see me do that to because I definitely have the potential.

  • I recieve a lot of support from my trainer at all times.

  • It feels like I have progressed further therefore makes me feel better.

  • I don't think so.
