    7/10

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My role has remained the same since starting my apprenticeship (which I was doing prior to the apprenticeship). I don’t feel that I have developed any new skills.

    5/10

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme doesn’t seem any different to the job I was doing prior to starting the apprenticeship. It is enjoyable as a role but I would have liked the opportunity to learn new things during the apprenticeship.

    5/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • There doesn’t seem to be any structure in place. Particularly for the work based modules, we’ve pretty much been left to do them ourselves with very little help and guidance.

    3/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Very little support - we are essentially left to do the apprenticeship side of things ourselves. It’s very difficult to take the day off for the university work as my case load does not take into account my apprenticeship day.

    2/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The university have been good in providing updates and letting us know what is expected of the coursework. The lecturers are easily contactable and always respond.

    8/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The modules have provided me with new knowledge and understanding which will be transferrable in the work place when I work on larger projects hopefully in the future.

    7/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • My employer allows attendance of Urban Design London events. I would like to attend some in the future.

    6/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend Capita to a friend?
  • No

  • 9b. Why?
  • The apprenticeship has not been run properly.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capita?
  • Ensure that a clear apprenticeship structure has been put in place before committing (if that is what they are applying for).
