  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy working in my team as they ensure I understand what I have to do when a task has been given to me. The work that i do e.g. cost estimation from a drawing on Revit has given me hands on experience on how to do these tasks as opposed to just learning about it alone.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel my training externally enables me to work more efficiently when i come to work as it aids me on day to day tasks. I feel I am learning the theory and then putting it into practice at work which is really good. I feel I am learning much more by doing this route of qualification than a standard full time degree as I am gaining real life experience and can actually apply it to everyday.

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is an enjoyable place to work, and everyone is very friendly which has a welcoming feel to it. The work itself is also broken down so it can learnt step by step so its easier to take in. There are also many opportunities available such as networking, socialising, CPD sessions, going on site to learn/gain experience and so much more.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capita?
  • Have some work experience on your CV and just show you are eager to learn and are interested in the work they give you. The application process is fair as they give everybody an equal chance to get the apprenticeship. When on the scheme, there are a host of oppurtunities available such as on site learning, networking events, socials, and so much more. Especially when you go on day release to univerity as it gives a 'break' from work and you get to focus purely on knowledge and have a refresher coming back to work the next day.
