  • At PwC I am a trainee associate in tax. My day to day role involves preparing tax returns for assignees coming in and out of the UK for work purposes.

  • My knowledge of the UK tax system has improved vastly since I started work and it is continuously developing everyday as I come across different challenges.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I absolutely love my job. When I wake up at 7.30 in the morning I don't feel depressed that I've got to come into work, I feel excited that I have a whole day of personal and professional development which motivates me to perform at the highest level I am capable of.

  • I feel incredibly valued by the firm. I am aware of the amount of investment both finnancially and in terms of investing time and I understand what the firm expects of me.

  • Incredibly organised, I understand what I must do by what deadline and I am constantly reminded of my targets.

  • I receive so much support especially in the workplace. I can approach any member of my team and ask for guidance.

  • An incredible amount. They are incredibly accommodating depending on my personal circumstances.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • For a 20 year old, the amount of money I receive allows me to live comfortably taking into account all costs I incur throughout the month.

  • There are a huge number of opportunities outside of work from sports teams to volunteering. It is all so accessible.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Be confident in your raw ability. Show enthusiasm and passion provided it is genuine. Be excited about working for the biggest professional services firm in the world!
