  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Depends whether we are on client site or in the office, but mostly revolves around working in a team of different sizes and completing tests with communication with clients. Evidence gathering activities (EGA's) are the main objective, and to complete as many of those as possible.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Excel skills have been tested and I have improved greatly on those. Also the skill to know when to ask questions and how, and also to be able to be flexible, e.g. long travel and long days.

  • Its been good but challenging throughout.

  • It is organised but sometimes resourcing is not as efficient as some jobs you work very long hours and generally meaning there is not enough people on the job

  • We received support through our People Manager or programme manager frequently and there is always people in different year groups who are comfortable to answer any questions

  • There are similarities however it is not a direct correlation

  • End of month drinks, football every monday and some coffee breaks

  • Yes

  • Large organisation who look to prioritise people and its not always work orientated in its approach


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Make sure you are prepared for long hours, flexible with travel and good working in teams
