  • The role I did varied from client to client. However, overall it consisted of performing work to complete a companies audit. As an intern, the work we did was limited in detail however extensive in the sense I did a lot of different aspects of the audit.

  • I have learnt many new skills. the skills vary from Excel and navigating the companies many IT systems to more people based skills like having the confidence to speak to clients.

  • I really enjoyed the programme. Despite the long hours, I have learnt a lot and got some great experience

  • Very organised and a lot of support is available to help you through the placement

  • PwC offer alot of support. They are very attentive employers

  • ICAEW often send emails and send out letters keeping us all up to date. They also provide support online

  • The placement is crucial to me working toward my professional qualification as it means we are putting the academic learning into practice.

  • There are lots of opportunities from a social aspect with a social every week and opportunities to get involved with various sports.

  • You can never ask too many questions, stay hungry and be enthusiastic
