  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have definitely learnt new skills predominately in ER and understanding HR data to analyse organisational performance which were areas I needed more exposure on. In addition, I feel that I am developing existing skills I had everyday with the new knowledge I'm learning through the seminar days, reading and assignments I'm doing which is giving me more confidence in my role.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the programme. I like working alongside other HR professionals across different industries and at every seminar we get a bespoke experience from the host whether that's a tour of the plant, meeting the mayor or talks from more senior HR professionals and I feel like I'm constantly learning in a really supportive environment full of like minded people.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme structure is very good and incorporates so much to support the end point assessment. There could be improvements in seminar delivery and materials provided by Crosby training, but all concerns have generally been met. My tutor is great and very supportive however she has been very clear at the initial stages of compulsory modules and what the end point assessment entailed which left me quite confused for a while. I did have to go to another tutor for advice and support but feel more confident and clear now.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, there are loads of extra activities that you can get involved in when working for MAB from the ‘Friday Night Social’ events at the office annual to the summer party. There is also loads that you can get involved in if you work closely with a brand and I have been lucky enough to be taken to Spain and Venice for supplier supported trips amongst many other events that always makes the job feel really special!
