  • Yes, you learns a lot of things, mainly cause you're thrown in at the deep end, but you get used to it eventually.

  • The work is tough and sometimes dull, the people are what get you through it.

  • The programme is very well organised.

  • You are allocated a people manager and a career coach, these people will answer any queries you have. Any ex-course members in the office are also more than happy to help out.

  • ICAEW provide resources, the university provide a lot of support.

  • I had a basic knowledge of the services I was providing when I arrived which helped me get to grips with the role.

  • Plenty.
