  • On a day to day basis I work as a high voltage electrical engineer. this consists of wiring panels, installing transformers and overhead busbar circuits.

  • I have an EAL in Electrical Engineering, and other relivent electrical certificates including 17th edition.

  • The work is interesting and complex. The company is dedicated to its employees and my colleagues make my job enjoyable.

  • I feel that Schneider values their employees as they provide me with training opportunities, tools and support outside of work.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is well organised with the first year predominantly based at college. I am now base on site, attending additional courses when required.

  • I get adequate support for SETA, my training provider, as I have monthly meetings and site visits from a representative.

  • I would say my salary is average for a apprentice. it has risen recently with my gained experience.

  • Yes, we have golf days and other team building activities regularly and packages for heath care, gym memberships etc.

  • Yes

  • they are a committed company with good progression routes.

  • Make sure you are committed to working outdoors with a lot of manual labour.
