Being in HR means there is such a variety of tasks and no two days are the same. On a normal day I put together contract packs, conduct exit interviews/inductions for new starters, put together a HR newsletter each month and general admin upkeep of databases.
I have learnt so much since starting my apprenticeship, i'm lucky that my team allow me to get involved with so many new things all the time, helping me to expand my knowledge and involvement in HR.
I love my programme, i have the best team around me who are all so supportive and involve me in everything. I enjoy everyday at work, and look forward to learning new things all the time.
It's great to be a part of WB and as an apprentice i'm invited to any training sessions or courses provided. Being at TT Games this allows me to meet new people from WB all the time, but also other apprentices.
My programme is well structured. My tutor always knows what work to do next and how to progress. The organisation of my online portfolio isn't great but this is due to it being a new system and i'm sure it will be fixed.
My training provider is really supportive, i have regular email contact as well as visits to the office. She provides me with feedback on my work as well as sending me action plans.
Huge amounts. My team are super supportive and i feel like i can talk to them about anything. If i need help or have any queries someone will always help.
My salary is sufficent for an apprentice at my age, it covers living and daily costs.
I have been invited to WB to attend 3 training sessions as well as workshops with my apprenticeship provider.
Yes
Great company with huge support and masses of opportunity.
I'd say show you have a passion for your specific career path but also the company!
