  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I mainly deal with creating reports on a day to day basis, most of which are to do with revenue forecasting for the remained of the financial year for different sectors. I also take part in meetings for these different sectors to discuss updates that need to be made.

  • I have developed my Excel skills significantly since starting here.

  • I find it very enjoyable, but would enjoy it more if I was in a larger team.

  • I feel that I both valued and seen as somebody to get a task done.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is fairly well organised, but when we have to do work to do with our qualification, the work tends to have errors in it from the people that created the taskbook.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • They are always willing to help if we have queries and are quick to respond when communicating with them through email.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Having gone through some difficult times outside of work recently, I have found that my employer and manager more specifically have been very supportive.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • The salary is decent compared to my previous employers, but with living costs being so high in London I cannot afford to live in London. Even living in Surrey which has more affordable rent, it is sometimes difficult to make ends meet as the travel costs are a lot higher instead.

  • not that I am aware of.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Taking the less positive aspects and the salary aside, it is a great, supportive company to work for, where if you do well, they will recognise that.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • look at the global core values. prepare meticulously. Enjoy yourself
