  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Management Consultant working in PwC Pursuit hub. My daily tasks involved working on proposals for bids for large clients. My personal responses included a stakeholder analysis for one of the large clients, also filling out the RFI (request for information) that the clients sent.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Internally I got to speak with many managers who were very experienced, I had regular meetings with them and they gave me tips for university and PwC's recruitment system. I also got to be in an interview with a public speaking guru.

  • I enjoyed the programme very much, was very insightful and I learnt so much, everyone was very welcoming

  • Very valued they took me in as their own, my manager would always check up on me along with the buddy I was paired with who always updated me and made sure I was fine.

  • Very well, there was 2 induction days and also had a calendar for the week and was expected to keep to it

  • My buddy I was paired with supported me with all tasks and was happy to answer any question I came up with and if she couldn't she would make sure I speak to someone who could.

  • All expenses was paid for and was quite good pay at £9.75 an hour

  • Yes there were many activities available from gym sessions to activities with your team.

  • Yes

  • You learn so much and it is very attractive to employers


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Make sure you prepare for everything from interviews to tests as it is very competitive. And make sure you network as much as you can.
