1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Changing gas and electric meters to smart meters and giving 1st class customer service

I have developed a lot of practical skills with tools

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme a lot but coukd do with the apprenticeship being a little longer as the course has been condensed by 2 weeks, the 2 weeks they have deducted from the course are needed.

4. How valued do you feel by Centrica?

Feel very valued and think it is a good company to work for. i hope this is still the case post 2020 or when we have fitted the majority of smart meters.

5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think the course could be structured a bit better to be honest, like i mentioned it could be longer and couod get tablets a bit earlier.

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

Feel they are very involved in our learning which is good and supportive all the way through so far.

6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots, i feel they back us up whenever needed

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

Not very but expected this. It is hard with a mortgage, 2 children an of course all the usual bills. Good in comparison to some other apprenticeships.

Yes, i feel this could open many doors.

9. Would you recommend Centrica to a friend?

Yes

I feel they are supportive and havr many opportunities within the business.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Centrica?

Make sure you can afford the monthly pay originally. Support the company an they will support you.
