  • for an overview of my roles on a day to day basis I would say I undertake the tasks of a typical associate. My tasks include various testing on things such as different costs et.

  • over this placement i habve learnt various skills such as skills in excel, how to use the programme, al the different shortcuts etc, as well as how to use aura

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I would say that overall i did enjoy my placement. The hours were sometimes long but this was expected and the work was good. I am looking forward to my next placement

  • I would say that I value PricewaterhouseCoopers very highly as a firm and employer. I would really like to stay on at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the future

  • I would say that the structure of the programme with having half my time at newcastle university and the other half at PricewaterhouseCoopers is good.

  • I would say that i recieved alot of support from my training provider throughout the whole placement both from newcastle university and pricewaterhousecoopers

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • overall looking at all the costs involved from travel costs to social costs i would that that the salary should be slightly higher. London is very expensive to live in.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are alot of opportunities outsid of work both from a social and work point of view. This is something i would liketo get involved with in the future.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • PricewaterhouseCoopers holds a very strong place in the market as they grow in number each year. There are so many opportunities for people to take up.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • In terms of advice i would suggest people to apply for PwC directly or through a joint degree programme. This goes for all the big 4 audit firms.
