  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I am not hired as an apprentice, I am doing it to better my skills and knowledge in my roll. Although the apprenticeship itself has not taught me anything new, its very much developed my skills and understanding of the bigger picture. This includes why we have the organisational structure/ culture that we have. How things we do impact other things etc.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is well structured and organised in a sense of you are given an assignment every 2 months to complete. However, tasks in-between these differ in length of time to complete so some of these periods of time there is far too much work for time.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My skills coach is very supportive and will always offer extensions if he finds Im struggling. However as he has 40 students, he cannot give all of his students his full attention, so i feel my apprentice provider should hire more skills coaches.
