  • I teach Management at level 3 and level 5 these are work based apprenticeships. This includes curriculum planning employer engagement and resource writing. I teach cohorts face to face and when needed online

  • Part of my level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship Standard, that I'm currently completing, I have been learning teaching and learning theory. and linking this to motivational theory. I have been researching Blooms Taxonomy and butting in to practice the knowledge that I have gained

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have really enjoyed my programme so far with a mixture of face to face and remote delivery, This has been useful as I have been able to apply the learning to my everyday work

  • I have been given clear guidance of what the course will entail and all the dates and targets for the course have been agreed at the start. This has given be a clear picture of the course and what to expect

  • My employer has been very supportive and has allowed me time to attend sessions and complete off the job activities

  • I have constant support and communication from my tutor and the learning team, The resources have suited my learning styles

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It has given me a wider knowledge of teaching theory and how to apply experimental learning to my practice. This will enable me to plan and deliver better training to my own learners.

  • We have regular meeting and Teams chats, when on cohort we have group meals and more social time

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I have been fully supported from the start of the course and the learning has been enjoyable and useful in my work role. I feel that I'm able to develop my skills through this qualification


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Realise?
  • Ensure that you have employer support and you will be allowed time during work time to complete the activities. this will enable you to gain the most from the course.
