  • Studying theory in the classroom or working on aircraft or in the workshop during practical phases. Each day ends with an hour to consolidate what was learnt in the day.

  • I've learnt lots of new hand skills surrounding engineering.

  • I really enjoy my programme.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is reasonably well structured, we have had our schedule changed a handful of times and there might not be enough time to finish our practical phases, therefore some of our holidays have been taken off us to account for this.

  • Everyone receives a lot of support and encouragement from all our instructors and most training managers.

  • Training providers give us a lot of support during theory and practical phases, including feedback on how to improve.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel like my qualification and the skills I have learnt is 100% preparing me for my role and my future career.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • As apprentices, we organise some of our own social events and sports activities. Work often have provided us with days out and experiences to consolidate our knowledge learnt.

  • To be yourself and try as hard as you can to achieve the best grades and get the most out of your job or apprenticeship.
